The best fix to this that I have found is to open console [F1] and type graphics. Then the skins will load a lot faster. Might become a little laggy but you can always set it back to 60 which is the default. It is done when it stops spamming Skin download timed out in the console. I recommend keeping it at 1 even if it is done. It does occasionally get put back to 60 when you exit the game. I know this is a lot of questions, but if you could please take the time to answer them as clearly as possible, perhaps I can get this issue solved and share the solution with others, as right now I know of about 8 other server owners who are experiencing the exact same issue..

Or what they would use it for? If that doesn't work, try this. Get out of the game. Uninstall Rust. From within Steam, right click the game and choose "Uninstall".
